Three Rivers Home Health Services, Inc. with the home office in Eastman, was honored recently by the Telfair Chamber of Commerce as the 2010 Business of the Year.

Three Rivers Home Health Services, Inc. began providing home health services on June 1, 1979 as a certified Medicare Home Health agency.  The original service area included the seven county area of Bleckley, Dodge, Laurens, Pulaski, Telfair, Wheeler and Wilcox counties.

On January 1, 1995 Three Rivers opened the branch office in Helena, Georgia in order to better serve the patients in Telfair and Wheeler counties.  Also in the spring of 1995, Three Rivers received accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations.  This same accreditation continues today.

Three Rivers provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social worker, and home health aide services on an intermittent basis to patients in their home.

Beverly Brown, RN, Supervisor, expressed thanks and appreciation for the more than 250 patients Three Rivers served from the Helena office in 2009.  Ms. Brown stated that the many families met and friends she and the staff made this past year made an impression on all the employees in the office.

Three Rivers Home Health Services, Inc. has offices in Eastman, Abbeville, Cochran, Dublin, Helena, Macon, Milledgeville, Soperton and Warner Robins and provides services in 28 counties throughout Middle Georgia.
